Spring Fling
Egg Drop: Register online to get an egg surprise! Pick up eggs April 1st-3rd @ Bel Aire Rec Center
Egg Hunt: Find all of the eggs hidden around Bel Aire! Be the first to find them all to win a prize! Everyone who completes the hunt will be put in a drawing for additional prizes. The first clue will be posted on March 22nd on our Facebook page!
Citywide Garage Sale- April 22nd-24th
The annual Citywide Garage Sale weekend has been set for April 22nd-24th. No permit is required during this weekend to have a garage sale.

E-Recycling & Shredding Day- May 1st
Drop off old or broken electronics to be disposed of in a responsible manner by Electronix Recyclers Inc. More information about this can be found on their website - http://www.electronixrecyclers.com.
For some older televisions, it will be an additional charge for Cathode Ray Tube - $1.00 per diagonal in
Bring the documents that you would like to be shredded. It has been confirmed that the shredding truck that shreds on site will be here.
Curbside Clean Up- May 15th
Waste Connections will make one pass through the City collecting unwanted items. Items must be placed at the curb prior to 7:00 a.m.
Helpful tips:
-If you have items in your trash cart that are intended to be included in clean-up, set something outside of the cart so drivers can easily identify it is part of the clean-up day.
-Dried and empty paint cans will be accepted but lids must be off for the drivers to be verified.
-Small amounts of brush or limbs will be accepted if bundled into 3ft lengths.
-Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must be tagged by a technician and have appropriate paperwork with it to be picked up.
-No hazardous liquids such as fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, solvents, gas, oil, etc. will be picked up
National Night Out
National Night Out Event hosted by the Bel Aire Police Department and Sedgwick County Fire Department. Come out for free food, drinks, snow cones, doughnuts, and games. Meet and Greet with First Responders, Thunder Dog, McGruff the Crime Dog, Crash Test Dummies, and live music!
Bel of the Ball- July 30th
Fathers, Grandfathers, Stepfathers, Brothers, Uncles, Friends and Daughters come dance the night away! Music, food, and fun! Sign up at Bel Aire Recreation Center today! $20 for adult, child and $5 for each additional daughter.
Hot Dawgs Pool Party- August 2021
Come enjoy the Central Park Community Pool one last time for the summer but this time bring your dogs!
Admission $5 per dog (only 2 dogs per adult please)
Contests for biggest splash, best dressed, cutest couple and best trick start at 7:00 pm!
Fall Festival- October 16th
Fun for everyone!! Car show, vendor booth, live music, fall activities, petting zoo, food vendors and family fun!
Christmas in Bel Aire- December 4th
Christmas is coming to Bel Aire on December 5th from 6:30-8:30. Please come join us at Bel Aire City Hall for music, Santa, Tree Lighting & Fireworks!
