About the Council Member
In my early work career, I was a machinist and night student who learned the value of hard work and a dollar earned. Fast-forwarding many years, I am now a penny-pincher who deeply cares about our community, doesn't mind paying my fair share, but abhors waste and inefficiency. This philosophy - combined with my years of work as a shop foreman, quality manager, and self-employed business consultant - will hopefully serve the people of Bel Aire in a positive way.
The seven most dangerous words in local government are: "We've always done it this way before." As a new face on the City Council, I pledge to challenge how we've operated in the past. I will LISTEN to all points of view, especially new ideas. We may not always agree, but I will always listen. I pledge to return phone calls and emails, ask difficult questions, and challenge the status quo.
Bel Aire is a great town and a wonderful place to live, raise a family and/or retire. I want to make it even better for present and future citizens. This is your community - I serve you. Thank you for the opportunity.
