Severe winter weather is expected to enter Bel Aire starting today, Friday, January 29, and last throughout the weekend.
Public Works will maintain the snow route as needed. To view a larger snow route map, visit belaireks.gov/SnowRoute. If you must travel, allow extra time to reach your destination, give snowplows ample room, and please drive cautiously.
In addition to the snow and ice, extremely low temperatures are anticipated, which can impact water meters. To help prevent frozen meters and pipes, consider letting your faucets drip overnight. If your water service is interrupted, contact Public Works at 316-744-2451 (press 8).
