On Saturday, Aug. 10, the Kansas Department of Transportation will close the ramps from northbound I-235 to northbound I-135 and northbound I-235 to eastbound K-254 for new overhead sign installation. The work will occur from 6 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Aug. 10, after which the ramps will be reopened. While installation occurs, traffic will be directed to southbound I-135. The map outlines the project area and the detour route. All motorists are urged to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
